?Chubb 3pce S/cane casting rod 9'9"

This rod is not branded but is beautifully made probably by Chubb USA around 1880.  I has a laminated timber and cane handle with a sheet cork wrapped grip.  The laminated handle tapers into the first section of the 3 pce rod. Very nice tunnel runners with a simple tip runner. The ferrules are unusual as they have a hexagonal shaped base to fit the cane and are then rounded to take the male ferrule. Cane in good condition, all pieces of equal length.
