Julius vom Hofe overhead reel

Overhead reel branded Julius vom Hofe Pat Nov 17 85, Oct 8 1889 on handle end plate, 2 on underside of reel foot, 23/4" diameter. Hard rubber non handle end plate with on off check, reel has lost most of its plating but works very well.
